Teach For India Seminar

Teach for India (Tfi) a Non-profit and a Movement of Leaders. It Is a Part of the Teach for All Network.to Build a Growing Movement of Leaders. Teach for India Runs a Two Year Fellowship and Supports an Alumni Movement. The Fellowship Recruits College Graduates and Working Professionals to Serve as Full-time Teachers in Low-income Schools for Two Years. The Mission of Teach for India Is “one Day All Children Will Attain an Excellent Education.” Which Aligns With the Base Principle of Rotaract Club of Mumbai Nariman Point. India With Approximately 1 in 4 People Below the Age of 14 Years, Stands at an Inflection Point on the Ability to Provide Equal Opportunities for All Children to Attain an Excellent Education. More Than 50% of Students in Grade 5 Cannot Read a Grade 2 Text or Solve a Simple Subtraction Problem.teach for India Believes That at the Root of This Crisis in Indian Education Lies a Crisis of Leadership. Teach for India’s Motive Is Precisely to Fill This Deficit of Leadership in Education. Hence This Talk Session Was in Collaboration With the Rotaract Club of Bombay Mahalakali Heights. Rotaract Club of Mumbai Nariman Point Has Been Actively Involved With Tfi for Its Mental Health Therapy Session Project (Ayna) Where We Are Providing Free Therapy Sessions to Kids Studying in Underpriviledged Schools Associated With Tfi. Our Association With the Tfi Team Has Always Been Really Strong and Has Been Growing With Each Passing Day. We Collaborated With the Rotaract Club of Mahakali Heights, Rotaract Club of Badlapur and the Rotaract Club of Palghar.the Talk Session Was for Approximately 1 Hour 15 Mins and It Was Really Informative. There Was a Question and Answer Round Too and the Floor Was Kept Open for Various Questions That Were Raised by Some Members From the Clubs. She Also Explained Us the Recent Numbers From the 2021 Statistics Showing That Tfi Has Been Involve With Over 144 Fellows, 3500 Students, and 860 Alumni Members in the City of Mumbai.
